Oslo Apiary &#38;amp; Aviary is a dark-ecological tools, goods and service provider.
We work in the overlap between art and ecosystemic change, specializing in urban husbandry;&#38;nbsp;
Feeding birds, growing worms, keeping bees, tending trees.
A consistent activity throughout our work is the inspection of how the domains ‘urbanity-nature’ 
and&#38;nbsp; ‘private-public are expressed and separated: By tending plants, birds and insects in the city, 
we question what types of life belongs where. By subjugating ourselves to urban husbandry, we revitalize 
mutually dependent modes of being. Our entanglement allows for moments of enlivenment in a time 
of atomizing&#38;nbsp; individuation. We are in this together. Through our embedded practice we try to get a sense 
of the city’s ontology - how the post-sustainable city is constituted and can, or can’t, be reconstituted.
Currently, 'can't'’ is in the lead, gothifying our practice. Drawing on strategies traditionally associated 
with the double-roled artist, we find ourselves simultaneously planting trees as well as branching out 
into survivalist prepping. An

The Flatbread Society Grain Field is planted in the form of the navigational constellation Boötes, also known as ‘the Shepherd’. 
Each star in the constellation was expressed as a circle on the field.&#38;nbsp;
Each circle was hosted by one of the core members and surrounded 
by one variety of ancient grains. Concept and land art by Futurefarmers. 
The performance was a contribution to Futurefarmers (SF, USA) 
Into the Ground and Uo (In)To the Sky

10 kg honey was poured down the marble banister of 
the Kunstnernes Hus foyer, ending in a sculptural installation consisting of beeswax and marbled ceramics.

A three day psychogeographic drift along the fjord, carrying with us a live beehive for our final destiny. Along the 60km long trek, 
we mapped what was left of the freedom to roam (Allemannsretten).

Performance documentation in the form of a short-film, 
and digital- and physical map.
The performance was a contribution to Futurefarmers (USA/BE) 
The Land is Beautiful, The Sky is Beautiful, When Will they Meet? (2016),
a part of&#38;nbsp; Nikolai Astrup – Norwegian Landscapes, Henie Onstad
